Kogi: Two APC Members Approach Court For Cancellation Of Governorship Primaries

Two members of the All Progressives Congress have pleaded with an Abuja High Court to void the party’s governorship primaries, which held on April 11. Realwan Akpanachi and Yahaya Seidu-Nuhu prayed for the voiding of the primaries in an Originating Summons. The summons was filed by their Counsel, Promise Ogbodu, sued six of the contestants as 1st to 6th defendants. Other defendants are the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission as 7th and 8th defendants respectively. The plaintiffs are alleging the violation of the Electoral Act 2022 and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the primary election. AEDC commissions additional feeders to boost electricity in FCT

The Abuja Electricity Dristibution Company(AEDC) says it has inaugurated a 33 kilovolt(KV) feeders to meet growing electricity demand in parts of the Federal Capital Territory(FCT). AEDC's Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Donald Etim said this in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday. Etim said that the project would improve power supply availability within Gwarinpa, Dawaki, Katampe, Life Camp, Kubwa, Bwari, and environs. He said the AEDC had commissioned Strategic feeders to evacuate power from "TCN 2x60MVA 132/33KV GIS Transmission Station. INEC Declares Fintiri Winner Of Adamawa Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Ahmadu Fintiri, governor of Adamawa, as the winner of the state governorship election. Mele Lamido, the returning officer for the Adamawa governorship election, declared Fintiri as the winner after the collation of the supplementary election results.
