Kogi: Two APC Members Approach Court For Cancellation Of Governorship Primaries
Two members of the All Progressives Congress have pleaded with an Abuja High Court to void the party’s governorship primaries, which held on April 11.
Realwan Akpanachi and Yahaya Seidu-Nuhu prayed for the voiding of the primaries in an Originating Summons.
The summons was filed by their Counsel, Promise Ogbodu, sued six of the contestants as 1st to 6th defendants.
Other defendants are the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission as 7th and 8th defendants respectively.
The plaintiffs are alleging the violation of the Electoral Act 2022 and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the primary election.
