JAMB orders public universities to conclude 2025 admissions by October

Nigeria’s average daily crude oil production rose to 1,507,000 barrels per day in July, NewsSpecng learnt.According to a report by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, this represents a 7,000-barrel-per-day increase above the quota approved for Nigeria by OPEC.The latest oil output figures indicate that the country has sustained its crude production above the OPEC quota for the second consecutive month. The Federal Government has appointed Mr Opeyemi Agbaje as the chairman of the National Pension Commission.The Nigeria Labour Congress had threatened to embark on a strike over government non-constituting of the governing board of PenCom.At the end of its August 13th meeting, the Central Working Committee of the NLC demanded the constitution of the PenCom Governing Board in line with the law within seven working days.
