Azeez emerges overall winner of 2026 TYB Valentine’s Day Kitty, as Club Championship Matchplay winners shine

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Azeez, playing off handicap 28, returned 89 gross and 61 net to win the tournament. Jerry Ishaya finished runner-up in Men’s Division 2 with 90 gross and 62 net. In Men’s Division 1, Prince David won on countback after returning 73 gross and 68 net. Capital Importation Jumps By 380% To $6bn In Q3 2025 – NBS

The National Bureau of Statistics has disclosed that Nigeria’s capital importation surged to $6.01bn in the third quarter of 2025.This represented a 380.16 per cent increase compared to $1.25bn recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.The NBS disclosed this in its latest Nigeria Capital Importation (Q3 2025) report published on its website on Saturday.The report showed that capital inflows also rose on a quarter-on-quarter basis, climbing by 17.46 per cent from $5.12bn recorded in the second quarter of 2025 to $6.01bn in Q3. “In Q3 2025, total capital importation into Nigeria stood at $6.01bn, higher than $1.25bn recorded in Q3 2024, indicating an increase of 380.16 per cent. “In comparison to the preceding quarter, capital importation increased by 17.46 per cent from US$5.1...

Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Tuesday announced a price reduction of its Premium Motor Spirit gantry price by N25 per litre, lowering its ex-depot rate from N799 to N774 per litre. The refinery in its communication of the price adjustment to marketers on Tuesday, noted that the new rate takes immediate effect.
