TCN Says Nation’s Grid Restored after Collapse

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Thursday said the nation’s power grid had been fully restored as at 4:59 PM on Wednesday the 28th after a grid collapse which occurred at about 12:20 pm the same day. TCN admitted that the collapse was triggered by a sudden drop in system frequency to 47.21Hz.
