NCC board holds retreat to align with strategic national digital priorities

The need to align with the country's strategic national digital priorities topped the agenda during a recent retreat of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).The retreat was held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.The board reaffirmed the pivotal role of the Commission in driving Nigeria’s digital economy advancement. The retreat which was presided over by NCC Chairman, Chief Idris Olorunnimbe also enabled the NCC Board and Management to deliberate and agree on matters related to regulatory oversight of the telecommunications sector in the country.
