Tinubu sends list of ambassadorial nominees to Senate

Finally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has transmitted a fresh list of nominees for non-career ambassadorial positions to the Senate for legislative approval. Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the President’s letter during Wednesday’s plenary, signaling the commencement of the confirmation process. The nominees are Kayode Are from Ogun State, Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa State, and Ayodele Oke. “The list contains three names for now, I am sure others will follow,” Akpabio said shortly after unveiling the communication from the Presidency.
